Fall 2001 Sustainable Greenhouse Project

"When I first envisioned the greenhouse project I knew I wanted it to be
sustainable long-term. I wanted it built out of natural materials like
wood and glass, not plastic. I hired Terra Sanctus because I
knew we were on the same wave length. Mason provided the reclaimed
greenhouse glass (with a beautiful green tinge) and suggested using natural
cedar and straw bale for the structure.

The results have been wonderful. I use the greenhouse as part of my
strategy for year round food production and self-sufficiency. The
workmanship is absolutely outstanding. The straw bale retains heat and
creates an incredible micro climate. I enjoy fresh food practically all
year from it without any external heat. I get many compliments on the
appearance; it adds incredible beauty to my landscape and value to my
property. I can't say enough about my custom-built Terra Sanctus
greenhouse. I wish everyone could have one."
